TRAVEL ITINERARY:

Sunday, June 16th: 7:00 - 8:00 PM

  • Bring luggage for loading morning of departure.

  • Parent Meeting (7:00 PM)

  • Student Meeting (7:00 PM)

Tuesday, June 18th:

ARRIVE AT BB CAMPUS @ 4:15 AM

ARRIVE AT GI CAMPUS @ 5:15 AM

  • BB CAMPUS: Departure at TCBB @ 4:30 AM

  • GI CAMPUS: Departure at TCGI @ 6:00 AM

  • *Remember to bring $20-30 for lunch on the way and on the way back*

Saturday, June 22nd: 3:00 PM

  • Arrive at Third City Christian Church returning from MIX

  • TCBB Arrive back at TCBB @ 4:30 PM


Parent Communication:

  • Social media, Facebook primarily, will be where you find any updates (ex. leave times, travel time changes, etc.).

  • In unique situations or emergency, we will contact parents directly. Make sure your student knows your phone number or to have it programmed in their contacts.

WHAT TO BRING

& WHAT NOT TO BRING

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Swimming Suit

  • Sunscreen

  • Bible

  • Water bottle

  • Notebook and pen/pencil

  • Clothing for five days, including travel time

    • 2 sets of clothes for day 2, 3, and 4 - one set to get dirty and/or wet (outside group games that sometimes include water)

  • Personal toiletry items, including prescription medication

  • Shower Towel and Pool Towel

  • Bedding/sleeping bag to fit a single bed

  • Money for travel, the MOVE Station, offering, etc

  • Money for lunch on Monday and Friday ($20-$30)

  • (optional) Frisbees, footballs, etc. for recreation time

  • You will be walking a ton and it will be hot, prepare for it!

    • On that note, bring a Body Glide for chafing. Trust us.

  • Swim Suit (ladies, it’s gotta be a 1 piece or tankini).

WHAT *NOT* TO BRING:

  • Alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigs, vape, drugs, anything illegal, etc

  • Any electronics you wouldn’t not want to get stolen, etc

  • Refrigerators or air-conditioners

  • Girls AND boys, no tank tops/cut offs, please!

  • SPAGHETTI STRAPS

  • LOW-CUT SHIRTS

  • SHORT SHORTS

  • SHORT SKIRTS

  • BIKINIS

  • FOLLOW DRESS GUIDELINES

  • RESPECT OTHERS AND YOURSELF.

  • NO GUYS IN GIRL’S DORMS BEYOND THE FRONT LOBBY AND VICE VERSA.

  • ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, VAPING, DRUGS AND WEAPONS ARE ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED.

  • YOU MUST BE IN YOUR DORM BY THE DESIGNATED “IN DORM TIME” ON THE SCHEDULE.

  • FOR SECURITY REASONS, NO STUDENTS WITH BACKPACKS ARE ALLOWED INTO THE AUDITORIUM OR CAFETERIA.

  • DRAWSTRING BAGS ARE ACCEPTABLE.

  • FOLLOW THE SCHEDULE. BE WHERE YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE WHEN YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE.

  • DURING SESSIONS, STAY IN YOUR ASSIGNED SEATING. PLEASE FOLLOW THE POSTED SEATING CHART.

  • DON’T LEAVE THE AUDITORIUM ONCE THE SPEAKERS BEGIN TALKING.

  • RESPECT THE CAMPUS – NO TP, WATER BALLOONS, SHAVING CREAM, SIDEWALK CHALK, ETC.

  • NO PRACTICAL JOKES!

  • DON’T MOVE FURNITURE – YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY ASSESSED DAMAGE.

  • DON’T DIAL 911 UNLESS IT IS A TRUE EMERGENCY.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO FIREWORKS AT ANY TIME DURING MIX OR WHILE ON CAMPUS PROPERTY.

  • NO FOOD DELIVERIES OF ANY KIND TO THE CAMPUS.

  • STUDENTS MAY LEAVE CAMPUS ONLY WITH ADULT SUPERVISION; THOSE STAYING BEHIND MUST HAVE AN ADULT PRESENT.

  • NO HAZING OF OTHER STUDENTS ALLOWED.
