Missions of Hope International (MOHI)
About: Missions of Hope International (MOHI) empowers disadvantaged communities in Africa through education, healthcare, economic development, and evangelism, breaking the cycle of poverty and sharing the hope of Jesus. Founded in 2000 with 50 Kindergartners they now serve over 25,000 students in 35 centers across Kenya. Third City Christian has come alongside MOHI to sponsor students in a school located in Kariobangi, Kenya. We have sent numerous teams to learn more and do medical clinics, VBS, and support educators there. We have also partnered with them to help raise funds to build a new school. We look forward to seeing how our ongoing partnership will impact this area.
Ways to get Involved:
1) Pray - come alongside the educators, pastors, and leaders working in this area. Pray that God would provide them all they need, the strength and wisdom to navigate the challenges they encounter.
2) Donate or Sponsor a Child - many families within Third City have begun sponsoring a child for just $38/month and we would encourage you to do the same if you have an interest - https://give.mohiafrica.org/sponsor-a-child Additional giving needs are abundant with disaster relief, construction projects, conferences, camps, and trainings - https://give.mohiafrica.org/category/projects
3) Go on a trip - we are building a rhythm of taking a team to MOHI every 18 months or so. Keep an eye out for information in future newsletters or church announcements for the next opportunity to go.

Diamond Willow Ministries
About: Community members on the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation formed Diamond Willow Ministries in 2001. Since that time, this Christian non-profit 501c3 has steadily and faithfully served to empower and uplift the Hunkpati Oyate -- the people of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe. Diamond Willow’s IKCE OYATE CHRISTIAN CENTER family has grown into a Christ-centered tiospaye, extended family, within the tribe and beyond. As a trusted part of the community, Diamond Willow founded the TOKATA YOUTH CENTER in 2015, and continues to share a beautiful growing vision for the Oyate.
Third City Christian has partnered with Diamond Willow Ministries through our giving, hosting their teams on our campus, and sending groups up to serve and learn more. We feel their vision of ministry is very similar to our own with their initial focus on kids and families through the Tokata Youth Center.
Ways to get Involved:
1) Pray - pray for the ministry team and leaders just for encouragement and community. It can be an isolated place to do ministry. Pray for the youth they serve to encounter hope and purpose through the gospel.
2) Donate - In December 2023 we had a special church end-of-year giving focus to help them pay off their new building but additional funds are still needed so consider donating
3) Go on a trip - we will continue to send teams up to serve and learn more. Look for the next opportunity on the newsletter and in church announcements

One Collective (SE Asia)
About: One Collective is a global non-profit focused on bringing people together around the ways of Jesus to create lasting change in our world today. A member of Third City has gone out and become a worker for One Collective with efforts focused in SE Asia. The goal of their work is to help bring the hope of the gospel to the unreached people groups of that region. Imagine a place where 99.9% of the people have never heard the gospel and will not ever hear the gospel within their lifetime unless something changes. Imagine a place where sharing the gospel could bring real challenges and persecution. This is the context that our partner serves.
Ways to get Involved:
1) Pray - join the prayer movement to see the gospel spread in this region. Pray for protection for the believers that are in this region.
2) Donate and Mobilize Support - only 1% of the global church funding goes towards the nearly 4 billion unreached people in the world. Consider giving towards the spread of the gospel to the unreached and sharing the need with others.
3) Go on a trip - come and see in person the work being done. We are looking to build more opportunities for people to go and see the work being done. Check the newsletter and church announcements for more updates.

Randy and Miki Brooks (South Pacific Church Planting)
About: The Brooks have helped to plant new churches and restore existing churches all across New Zealand. Randy is the South Pacific Regional Director for New International. He works to organize church plants, mentor, coach and recruit new church planters for both New Zealand and Australia. Along with their involvement in church planting, the Brooks' are involved in day-to-day ministry in local churches in New Zealand.
Australia and New Zealand are in what some are calling the “Post-Christian” age. In other words, the era of Christianity is now rapidly declining. There is no longer a predominately Christian ethos among these nations. Our most current information estimates that only 5-10% of New Zealanders attend church. Much like Western European nations, the people have abandoned their relationships with Jesus Christ for secular lifestyles.
Ways to get Involved:
1) Pray - pray that their would be a movement back to God among the people of the South Pacific. Pray for Randy and Mike along with their families for health, safety, and success in ministry.
2) Donate - join our churches giving towards the ministry of this couple to the people of the South Pacific DONATE
3) Join their newsletter - send an email to rbrooks@newinternational.org and let him know you would like to begin receiving their ministry updates.
